I had just seen 3 or 4 different brands of vibration machines at the state fair, and they were priced in the $1000 to $2000 range. I was tempted to buy, but checked here and found this at 1/3rd the price. I have just received this, put it together, and used it. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this one. It was as nice as any I saw at the fair. It runs quiet, and has a large range of vibrations.
Unfortionatly I am not a small person, and it handled my wieght very well.

Pros: Fast shipping. Easy installation. Effective 10 minute workout, I am a large male (192cm, 135kg) and this product shakes my entire body while exercising.
Cons: Wrong manual(different model), BMI feature does not work. Elastic bands offer little resistance. (IMO all minor issues)
Thoughts: The first day with the product I accually felt it was to powerful. Had to back down the settings until I started using the exercise programs which are great for a beginner. I enjoy using the product daily, this is rare for me. I get bored with most exercise equipment fast. I have had the product just over 3 weeks and my wife mentioned improvement of my apperance. Some of the improvements I have noticed are:
1. Clothes fit better.
2. Better sleep.
3. Improved balance/leg strength.
I have recomended this product to family and friends. If you want a benificial 10 minute workout the Confidence Slim is money well spent.

I wondered why the vast price difference in these vibration platform fitness machines. Quality, I assumed and maybe brand recognition. That's not quite so. The Confidence from Golf Outlets and Amazon is effective and a great value. The higher end machines, especially the Power Plate vibrate in 5 directions at once. I've only experienced the Power Plate for a few minutes and it seemed a finer vibration; less movement if you will. The Confidence rocks side to side. This is only apparent at lower speeds and becomes more of a vibration early in its 1-50 speed adjustment. I've used it for 11 days and was able to increase my time to the 10 minute limit a few days ago and the speed to the 5 setting. I'm in poor shape and health. Even at these minimal settings, I'm invigorated and feel better with each use; once daily for now. I've used 3 lb. wrist weights in conjunction with the yoga straps the last couple of days and look forward to increasing my capability. The BMI function is very useful in logging my progress. Assembly is easily OK. I read reviews before purchase and found a gremlin in that wires get pinched during assembly. Just my luck, I couldn't find the wires. Of course they were inside the shell requiring it be removed. The plate cover that you actually stand on had to come off first. That's a bit tricky as it's held on with double-sided tape. Then a few screws from the shell itself give access to the wiring. A grommet for the wiring would have been a nice touch but Duck Tape holding it out of harms way worked well. One reviewer had a problem with the Yoga straps but my machine was complete and they were easily attached. When replacing the plate cover be sure to align their holes. The description didn't mention the wheels but even though tiny, they make moving much easier. The Confidence is well worth the price and effort. It shouldn't go without mention, Golf Outlets and UPS were very quick; ordered late 4th, received on the 7th. Hope you have the good experience I've had.
